Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that have not been previously published or are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions must be relevant to the scope of the Journal of Business, Accounting and Information Technology (JBAIT).

1. Scope of the Journal

JBAIT publishes research articles and scholarly studies in the fields of business, accounting, and information technology, including but not limited to business management, financial and management accounting, accounting information systems, digital business, financial technology, data analytics, and the application of information technology in business and accounting contexts.

2. Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system. Authors must register and log in to submit their manuscripts. All correspondence regarding the submission will be conducted via the journal system.

3. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be prepared using the journal’s template and must adhere to the following requirements:

  • The manuscript should be written in English.
  • The length of the manuscript should be 4,000–5,000 words, excluding references.
  • The paper size is A4, with margins set according to the journal template.
  • The main text should be typed in Times New Roman, 12-point font, and 1.0 line spacing.
  • The manuscript must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.

4. Structure of the Manuscript

Manuscripts should be organized in the following order:

  • Title
  • Author(s) Name(s) and Affiliation(s)
  • Abstract (150–200 words)
  • Keywords (3–5 words)
  • Introduction
  • Research Method
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • References

5. Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should clearly describe the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Keywords should reflect the main topics of the manuscript and assist in indexing.

6. Citation and References

All references must be cited in the text and listed in the reference section. JBAIT applies the APA (7th edition) citation style. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

7. Plagiarism Policy

All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding the journal’s acceptable threshold will be rejected or returned for revision.

8. Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to JBAIT undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors’ identities are concealed from reviewers, and reviewers’ identities are concealed from authors.

9. Publication Ethics

Authors must comply with the journal’s publication ethics policy. Any form of unethical behavior, including plagiarism, data fabrication, or multiple submissions, is strictly prohibited.

10. Open Access and Copyright

JBAIT provides open access to all published articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) License. Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right of first publication.
